Professional experience

After graduating in Law by the University of Granada, Nicolás joined the Prevention of Money Laundering Department of the United Nations. There, he gained valuable and extensive experience in constant relation with several different countries. His coming into contact with tax issues led him to enrol on the Master in Tax Consultancy at the University of Navarre, where he specialised in the use of all the tools of Tax Law.

Then, Nicolás took a big step in his career when he began to work in an international firm, such as the firm of Eduardo Luque (Madrid), a real benchmark as far as tax law is concerned. Later, as a partner of the law firm GVA & ATENCIA, Nicolás set up the Tax Law Department for the firm, which he has been leading during the past twelve years.

In terms of education, Nicolás has never stopped expanding his knowledge through numerous refresher courses in accounting, and he studied a Master of Laws in Commercial Law at the Universidad Internacional de Andalucía (UNIA), among other courses.

Expert in tax law

Thus, throughout his long career Nicolás has dealt with all kinds of tax problems, primarily related to inheritance taxes, non-resident matters, inspections, mergers and acquisitions, VAT and a long etcetera, covering all fields of tax law.

Similarly, he has provided advice to companies of different fields, such as chemistry, real estate, transport and logistics, among others, always offering a close attention, getting into the skin of the customer to know how best to warn them in all their operations.

He has been invited to several boards of leading companies. Nicolás Gómez-Villares Pérez Muñoz is also a fellow member of the Malaga Bar Association and a regular collaborator with several communication media for which he has written a great number of press articles.
