Mauricio Villeda Zúñiga has been mainly involved with the Administrative Law area. His professional career includes the registration of food products, registration of agrochemical products, registration of cosmetic products and registration of veterinary products.
He has also worked in the area of Telecommunications (VESAT, Data Transmission, Radio Communication), mining concessions and energy matters. He has attended several regional forums organized by the Central American Energy and Environment Alliance.
Throughout the years, he has also worked on Corporate Law (company creation, articles amendment, drafting of Board of Directors Meeting minutes for Annual and Extraordinary General Meetings). He has specialized in obtaining authorization for foreign companies interested in trading in Honduras.
He has worked extensively in Intellectual Property management (Factory brands, services brands, trade names, invention patents, among others.)
In terms of migration and foreign affairs, he has been in charge of obtaining the residency permits and permanence permits in the country be it for working reasons, family ties, investors, renters or pensioners.
He has been involved in some due diligence processes in the acquisition of shareholding capital for financial institutions in the country.
In 2005 he became a partner in Gufa.
