She is a lawyer at the Marbella office of GVA & ATENCIA, which she joined in April 2012. Before joining, and in the last year of her university studies, she completed a training period in a company dedicated to the construction industry in the in-house legal advice department. Once completed her university studies, she studied an intensive eight-month course in London. She completed an official Master of Laws with the Malaga Bar Association (2009-2012). She combined her master studies with her training period in a law firm that collaborated with the Malaga Bar Association. During her training period, she devoted herself primarily to providing legal and out-of-court advice in cases relating to employment, civil, criminal, administrative and commercial law.
Most of her daily work in the Insurance Department is focused on working with a particular insurance company. Isabel specialises in civil and criminal liability, as well as private commercial and family matters.
The Insurance Department provides comprehensive advice on the processing of judicial and extrajudicial claims arising from the legal expenses cover included in the insurance policies arranged by individuals with the insurer.
Her role includes the judicial and extrajudicial processing of claims for accidents arising from traffic accidents; the judicial and extrajudicial processing of claims for material damages arising in the properties insured by the company; the filing of lawsuits, attendance to preliminary hearings, trials and other legal actions; and the location and follow-up of judicial actions until their conclusion and before the competent bodies. Isabel is also in charge of drafting formal complaints, attending trials of minor offences and other judicial actions, together with defending the interests of the clients in the court room, drafting feasibility reports, the timely update of the tasks carried out for the company, legal and personal advice to clients or jurisprudence research, among other things.
Her work in civil and criminal liability, and in everything relating to insurance matters is worthy of mention. When performing her job, she always endeavours to analyse and study each file right from the beginning, seeking the best possible route to attain the best result in an efficient and effective way.
She is a fellow member of the Malaga Bar Association.
