- She did her Legal Practice at the Escuela de Prácticas Jurídicas of the Jaén Bar Association.
- She has given classes as an associate professor in the Commercial Law Department at the University of Jaén.
- She has published many papers and has participated in the organisation of several scientific events.
Inmaculada has been a practising lawyer since 1999. She forms part of the Contentious and Procedural Department at GVA & ATENCIA, to which she joined in 2012. She graduated in Law at the University of Jaén (1998) and has combined her professional activity with teaching at the University of Malaga, as an Associate Professor in the Area of Commercial Law since 2012. She already developed this activity at the University of Jaén between 2007 and 2011 in the same discipline.
Her main practice areas in the firm are centred on the commercial field (procurement and corporate law), as well as in the contentious-administrative fields (administrative proceedings, grants and procurement in the public sector).
Inmaculada has extensive professional experience in the law of business organisations, particularly in terms of contracts and corporate law, with special knowledge on publicly owned companies.
In terms of public law, she has accumulated a remarkable experience due to having been part of the several autonomous bodies and administration boards of public companies and financial entities for over ten years. She has also held senior positions in the management of the Local Administration.
Inmaculada is the author of several publications and in 2004, she obtained her diploma on Research Sufficiency with the paper called “Contingent Credits: an approach to their treatment in insolvency law” [‘Los Créditos Contingentes: una aproximación a su tratamiento en el Derecho Concursal’]. She is now a PhD student in the speciality of corporate law. She has been involved in the organisation of several scientific events and regularly participates in congresses and educational talks.
